PJA Carpentry Ltd continously brings new recruits into the company with ongoing traineeship opportunities.

Each year a number of new trainees are offered a placement with the company on an on-site assessment and training (OSAT) programme.

The new recruits learn the following skills alongside our skilled carpenters:

• Joisting & Flooring
• Roofing
• 1st fix
• 2nd fix
• Kitchen fitting

Each trainee is mentored to build their experience, knowledge and skill. Once they have the required experience, they go on to have on-site assessments with our trusted training provider to attain a level 2 NVQ certificate in Site Carpentry.

All trainees will have the opportunity of full time employment upon receiving their NVQ Certificate.

This route is suitable for those who are just starting their career in site carpentry, or those who have already built some experience in the industry, which they wish to develop further or gain a formal qualification.

Trainees must obtain the following in order to secure a position:

• UTR Number
• CSCS Card
• Public Liability Insurance
• Own transport (Due to site locations)

Carpenters Required in the following areas:

Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire & Buckinghamshire.
